Beauty Bar, 231 E 14th St, New York, NY

An NYU institution that appears to be built in the ruins of an old beauty parlor. Had a $10.00 manicure and Martini deal when I was there. It was unusually quiet in the late afternoon when this recording was made. Its usually packed. Young co-eds mixing with more seasoned locals. High energy. Worth checking out.
